Fit, wear and care
- If you are between sizes, size down one. Rigid denim fits firmly at first and gives in the waist over the first weeks.
- The rise is 12 inches and the inseam is a full 31 inches, cut to wear with a heel or to be cropped.
- Hemming is free on request through the repairs page. A hemmed pair is final sale, so wear it in before you decide.
- Wash rarely, inside out and cold, and hang it to dry.
- Ecru shows marks sooner than the indigo washes; spot clean it between washes.
- Wash knitwear cold, by hand or on the wool cycle, and always dry it flat
- Wash denim rarely, inside out and cold, and hang it to dry
- Never tumble-dry wool, cashmere blends or waxed cotton
- Re-wax waxed jackets once a season and never machine-wash or dry-clean them

How does it fit?
High in the rise and wide in the leg. It is rigid denim with a 12-inch rise: firm at first, and it gives in the waist over the first weeks. Between two sizes, size down one.
What is the inseam?
A full 31 inches, cut to wear with a heel or to be cropped.
I am petite. Will it work?
With hemming, yes. Hemming is free on request once you have worn the pair in. A hemmed pair is final sale.
Does it stretch?
There is no elastane. It gives in the waist as cotton does, about half a size, and not in the leg.
Can I exchange for another size?
Yes, free, within 45 days, unworn and unwashed with the tags on.
Which wash is the darkest?
