Fit, wear and care
- Order your pants waist size. The five holes are an inch apart, centered on that size.
- If your waist is an odd number, take the next even size up.
- Condition it twice a year with a neutral leather conditioner.
- Keep it away from heat, and let it dry on its own if it gets wet.
- Veg-tan leather darkens and takes on marks as it ages. That is patina, not damage.
- Wash knitwear cold, by hand or on the wool cycle, and always dry it flat
- Wash denim rarely, inside out and cold, and hang it to dry
- Never tumble-dry wool, cashmere blends or waxed cotton
- Re-wax waxed jackets once a season and never machine-wash or dry-clean them

Full-grain vegetable-tanned leather, 35 mm wide and about 4 mm thick, with burnished edges. Solid brass buckle and a single leather keeper. Cut, finished and stitched in Oregon.

Asked about Leather Belt
Which size do I order?
Your pants waist size. The belt has five holes an inch apart, centered on it. With an odd waist such as 31 or 33, take the next even size up.
Will it fit belt loops on jeans?
Yes. 35 mm fits the loops on our denim and chinos.
It has a mark on it already.
Vegetable-tanned leather shows natural marks and darkens with wear. A scratch often rubs out with a thumb.
Does it go with the Wool Pleated Trouser?
No. That trouser has side adjusters and no belt loops.
Is the buckle plated?
No. It is solid brass, so there is no plating to wear through.
