Fit, wear and care
- This is a pre-order. It is charged in full at checkout and ships with the winter drop.
- Take your usual size. It is thigh length, with room for a sweater.
- Sponge the shell clean with cold water. Never machine-wash it or dry clean it.
- Re-wax the shell once a season with the Jacket Bar Wax.
- The collar buttons off; brush it rather than washing it.
- Wash knitwear cold, by hand or on the wool cycle, and always dry it flat
- Wash denim rarely, inside out and cold, and hang it to dry
- Never tumble-dry wool, cashmere blends or waxed cotton
- Re-wax waxed jackets once a season and never machine-wash or dry-clean them

Shell 100% waxed cotton; lining 100% boiled wool; recycled polyester collar
Shell: 100% waxed cotton. Lining: 100% boiled wool. Detachable collar: recycled polyester with a shearling-look pile. Made in England. Two-way zip under a snap storm flap, two bellows pockets, two hand-warmer pockets and an inside pocket.

When does it ship?
With the winter drop. The expected ship date is on your order and on the pre-order status page. We share a date only when it is confirmed.
When am I charged?
In full, at checkout. A pre-order has no tracking until it ships, which is normal.
Can I cancel a pre-order?
Yes, for a full refund, at any point before it ships.
What happens to the other items in my order?
An order that holds a pre-order ships when the pre-order is ready. Sending the in-stock items ahead is decided by our team, on request.

How does it fit?
Regular and thigh length, with room for a sweater. Take your usual size.
Is the collar real shearling?
No. It is a recycled polyester pile with a shearling look, and it comes off.
