Fit, wear and care
- Order your usual waist. It should feel snug the first time you put it on.
- It relaxes about half a size with wear, so do not size up to get comfortable on day one.
- It is pre-washed and does not shrink to speak of.
- Hemming is free on request through the repairs page. A hemmed pair is final sale, so wear it in before you decide.
- Wash inside out, cold, and hang it to dry. Heat wears out the elastane.
- Wash knitwear cold, by hand or on the wool cycle, and always dry it flat
- Wash denim rarely, inside out and cold, and hang it to dry
- Never tumble-dry wool, cashmere blends or waxed cotton
- Re-wax waxed jackets once a season and never machine-wash or dry-clean them

98% cotton, 2% elastane, 12oz stretch denim, pre-washed. Sewn in Los Angeles. Zip fly, five pockets, bar tacks at the stress points. Tapered from the knee to a narrow hem.

How does it fit?
Slim through the thigh and tapered below the knee, but not skinny. It is snug at first and relaxes about half a size with wear.
Should I size up?
No. A snug first try is the right fit. Sized up, it will be loose within a couple of weeks.
Will it shrink?
It is pre-washed, so there is none to speak of.
I have bigger thighs.
The Straight Selvedge in One Wash has more room through the thigh at the same waist. This one is cut for slimmer builds.
Which inseam?
30, 32 or 34. Hemming is free on request once you have worn the pair in, and a hemmed pair is final sale.
